From the Back of My Proof Copy:
Set to be the biggest debut launch of 2013
A secret history
A mysterious legacy
Dark magic of untold power
And three kids who will risk everything to bring their family back together…

Synopsis From Goodreads:
When Brendan, Cordelia and Nell move to Kristoff House they have no idea that they are about to unleash the dark magic locked within.
Now the Walker kids must battle against deadly pirates, bloodthirsty warriors and a bone-crunching giant. If they fail they will never see their parents again and a crazed witch will take over the world.
No pressure then...
House of Secrets is the first book in a major new series.
It's going to be epic.

                                                                    Review
‘Suddenly a face appeared.  Inches from Brendan's own, hissing, its voice like a swarm of wasps leaving hell.
"You don't belong here..."’
The Walkers kids used to have everything.  A normal life, full of books for Cordelia, games for Brendan and pony dreams for Eleanor.
That was before The Incident.
The Incident that made them leave their home and find a new place to live.
The Incident that led them to Kristoff House.
The kids know instantly something is up with the house.  First, there's a shadowy figure watching them, then darting away.  All they can find is a stone statue.  A statue that disappears, leaving a bald woman in its place, telling Bren to leave – now.  And then there's the price – the house is beautiful, old, full of antiques.  And yet it's cheaper than a flat.
So what's going on?
Well, the children soon find out, as they are thrown into the middle of a tangle of dark secrets – and darker magic.
Trapped in a whole other world...
Without their parents...
And completely, utterly alone...
When I saw House of Secrets was written by Chris Columbus, I knew I had to read it.  I mean, he's a movie legend.  And Ned Zizzini?  He's the writer of Teen Wolf– a show I absolutely adore.  So it's safe to say that I had ridiculously high expectations of House of Secrets.  And I must say, it lived up to them.  It had all the action, adventure, suspense, fantasy, humour and family feel that I'd expect from these two authors.  But by far the best quality was the fantastical world – oh, and the wonderfully odd sense of humour too.  And my God, kids will love this!  I just know they will.  It's so exciting and accessible and enjoyable and is just a really fun, pretty easy read.
The siblings were all so brilliant.  They kinda reminded me of the Baudelaire siblings from the Series of Unfortunate Events– in a good way.  They were all so wonderfully unique and smart.  And I love the relationship the three of them had – it was so real and funny.  Their bickering was just hilarious – this one scene in particular just had me totally cracking up!  Out of the three, I think Cordelia was my favourite – she was the one I connected with instantly, what with her being intelligent, amazingly logical and a total book-lover-slash-geek.  So, obviously, I could relate to her the most.  And even though she was level headed, mature and calm, she was, hehe, named after Cordy from Buffy the Vampire Slayer
I liked Brendan too – he was a total gaming addict (I’ve been there, guys: my brothers are addicted to that kinda thing too), but he was brave too.  He was constantly trying to prove himself, and some of his ideas were brilliant.  Others?  Yeah, not so much.  For example: his shouting match with the pirates...  Though that was hilarious!
Eleanor reminded me of myself aged eight – horse obsessed!  She was sweet and enthusiastic and funny, as well as being tough and brave and proving an eight-year-old could totally hold her own!  I loved her!
The other characters were amazing – they all had real personalities, all these quirks that made them, them.  Other than the siblings, some of my favourite characters were the pirates.  I mean, sure, they weren't exactly good or whatever, but man were they funny!  I also had a bit of a soft spot for Will, who was a bit sexist (he was a WWI pilot, though…) but was brave and loyal and when all’s said and done, isn’t that all that matters? Plus the villain...(ess?) was awesome – so scary and such a brilliant, strong baddie: you could really hate her but could also understand her too, if that makes sense.
The writing was good – quite basic, but that's expected from a MG book.  Nonetheless, everything was wonderfully described and I loved the wit and humour in the dialogue.  Though sometimes it felt a little... I dunno, stiff, maybe.  But if I'm entirely honest, I think I only think that because I'm fussy.  Either way, it didn't really detract from what I really loved about the book – i.e., the plot, the kids and, even though I also hate her, the villainess.  And the plot, as expected from Columbus and Vizzini, was fast paced and action packed.  I loved that about it – how it was never dull.  It was the kinda plot you could just see inside your head, playing out like a movie.  It was really rather addictive.  It was just so suspenseful and full of action.  Plus, I never knew what was going to happen next.  I didn't even know who was going to die – I was shocked many times!
As I mentioned before, the best part of this book for me was the world.  It was so amazing – so inventive and 3D.   It was so awesome and cool and new.  But I was a little shaky about the whole magic thing – like, how much magic is there in the real world – is there magic or is it just ‘The Book’?  But again: me being picky.  I only started caring once I'd finished the book and knew how it all ended.  It's really just afterthought pickiness.
House of Secrets was an action packed book full of action, suspense, dark magic, witty siblings and, you guessed it, a house full of secrets.  I was pulled right into the story and literally raced through, totally hooked and desperate to know what would happen next, how the plot would end (well but with a nice twisty cliff-hanger that's left me desperate for more).  I really enjoyed it and I've been left desperate for it to be made into a movie – directed by Columbus, of course.  It would just kick butt.  But really, what else do you expect from Chris Columbus and Ned Vizzini?
House of Secrets didn't exactly blow me away in the way I thought it would, but it did blow me away in ways I wasn't expecting.  I really did enjoy the story and definitely recommend it – especially to younger readers and us older ones who just want a good old fashioned fantasy adventure romp!

Frozen
Series: Heart of Dread
By: Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston
Published: 17th September 2013
Published By: Punam Juvenile
Found: On Goodreads' YA Novels of 2013 Listopia

Synopsis From Goodreads:

From New York Times bestselling author Melissa de la Cruz and Michael Johnston comes this remarkable first book in a spellbinding new series about the dawn of a new kind of magic.
Welcome to New Vegas, a city once covered in bling, now blanketed in ice. Like much of the destroyed planet, the place knows only one temperature—freezing. But some things never change. The diamond in the ice desert is still a 24-hour hedonistic playground and nothing keeps the crowds away from the casino floors, never mind the rumors about sinister sorcery in its shadows.
At the heart of this city is Natasha Kestal, a young blackjack dealer looking for a way out. Like many, she's heard of a mythical land simply called “the Blue.” They say it’s a paradise, where the sun still shines and the waters are turquoise. More importantly, it’s a place where Nat won’t be persecuted, even if her darkest secret comes to light.
But passage to the Blue is treacherous, if not impossible, and her only shot is to bet on a ragtag crew of mercenaries led by a cocky runner named Ryan Wesson to take her there. Danger and deceit await on every corner, even as Nat and Wes find themselves inexorably drawn to each other. But can true love survive the lies? Fiery hearts collide in this fantastic tale of the evil men do and the awesome power within us all.

This.  Looks.  Freaking.  Amazing.
I.  Cannot.  Freaking.  Wait.
SQUEEEE!!!!

Hello, lovely followers! I've decided to join in with all the fun of Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by the awesome The Broke and the Bookish. It just looks like so much fun! :D

This weeks topic is...

Top Ten Books I Wish Could Have Had Sequels

I don't really want a sequel-sequel.  Cause... well, if you've read the book you know how it ends.  I just want a spin-off about Zoey - Tessa's best friend.  She has some pretty big news in the book and I wanna know how she deals with... everything.
Again, wanna know what happens next to Joey.  I love him so much!
Why do I want a sequel?  BECAUSE IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO LEAVE A STANDALONE NOVEL LIKE THAT!!!!!!!  I MEAN OHMIGOD!!!!!!!!  PURE FREAKING EVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, I'm done.  Read the book and you'll get all the yelling...

I'm not really sure why I want a sequel to this one.  I just... do...  I can't explain it.  And maybe I don't even want a sequel...  Ok, you know what I want?  Just more from this character - I love her.  That's why.  She broke my heart and I just... I want her to fix it again, ok?!
Again, not sure why.  I think it's cause I love the characters.
This one is probably cheating but I just... I never liked the ending.  I want the immediately-after, not the however-many-years-from-now.

Dunno why.  Just really really really liked this one. :D
Again, cheating.  But I want more books from Rose's perspecive.  I love Sydney like mad but still...
One of my fave series ever - it shouldn't've been ended after just two books!!!!

What can I say?  I wanna know what happens next. ;)

Ok, that's my Top Ten!  What's yours!! :D

Synopsis From Goodreads:
Supernatural meets The Da Vinci Code in this action-packed paranormal thriller, the first book in a new series from New York Times bestselling author Kami Garcia.
I never believed in ghosts. Until one tried to kill me.
When Kennedy Waters finds her mother dead, her world begins to unravel. She doesn’t know that paranormal forces in a much darker world are the ones pulling the strings. Not until identical twins Jared and Lukas Lockhart break into Kennedy’s room and destroy a dangerous spirit sent to kill her. The brothers reveal that her mother was part of an ancient secret society responsible for protecting the world from a vengeful demon — a society whose five members were all murdered on the same night.
Now Kennedy has to take her mother’s place in the Legion if she wants to uncover the truth and stay alive. Along with new Legion members Priest and Alara, the teens race to find the only weapon that might be able to destroy the demon — battling the deadly spirits he controls every step of the way.

The same pic as up there somewhere - love the layout!

This is probably my favourite - I just really love this picture!!

This one is pretty cool.  I think I need to put the girl behind my sparkles, though.

Not really overly keen on this one - it didn't work out like I wanted it to!!

I kind of really like this one, even if it is a little cluttered!!!

Ok, so that's all the banners.  PLEASE help me choose one!!  I'm literally on my knees right now, sending mental pleas to you!!

Amy Goodnight’s family are far from normal.  She comes from a long line of witches, and grew up surrounded by benevolent spirits and kitchen spells. Al fairly harmless, but Amy can’t wait to get to college and escape the “family business”.
But things take a darker turn when she and her sister Phin spend the summer looking after their Aunt Hyacinth’s ranch.  Amy is visited by a midnight sceptre who is clearly trying to send her a message.  It seems that the discovery of an old grave on a neighbour’s land has been the catalyst for an apparent ghost uprising.
Aided by local friends and Ben, the handsome cowboy who just can’t take his eyes off Amy, the sisters investigate.  And they soon find that there’s something strange and dangerous going on, deep in the heart of Texas…

                                                                   Review:
'A lifetime of living with witches and psychics had made spells a routine part of my life.  I knew they worked, but I still preferred to put my trust in a locked door.  My relationship with magic was like a president's kid's relationship with politics: I didn't participate, but I couldn't quite escape it.  Especially not here, in the White House of the sovereign nation of Goodnight.'
Everyone knows the Goodnights are eccentric.  Kooky.  Crazy.
They just don't know how different they are.
Amaryllis (more commonly known as Amy) Goodnight knows, though.  She knows that the Goodnights are witches.  She grew up with witches, even if she doesn't practice herself.  But proof of her family's craziness?
Her sister Phin Goodnight blew up the chemistry lab while trying to charm the football team's jerseys.  Daisy Goodnight's imaginary friends were real people – ghosts.  Violet Goodnight's crystals can cure a headache and even pick up Mexican radio.
So yes.  The Goodnights are odd.
But Amy, she knows how everyone sees her is important and so she carefully blocks off her home life from her public one, smoothing problems over and keeping the whole witch thing very much secret.
But then Phin and Amy agree to look after their Aunt's ranch over the summer.  Big mistake.  Like seriously, a huge mistake.
And we're not talking about the ghost of their Uncle Burt.  Or the fact Amy runs around in her underwear to scare of a cow and then gets into a fight about ghosts with a hot cowboy (still in her underwear).  Oh no.  It is just... so much worse.  Amy knows that's hard to believe, but it really is.  As in, catastrophic-freaky-deaky-paranormal-ghostly-happenings bad.  As in dead-body-found and ghostly-attacks bad.
So the Goodnight sisters are dragged into an investigation - one that could reveal the very secret Amy has been fighting to hide for so, so many years – and draw up a whole rush of old memories...
I've never read anything by Rosemary Clement-Moore before, although I've been eyeing Texas Gothic for what feels like forever – damn budget!  I am so glad that I finally got round to reading it, because I loved it.  It was absa-freaking-amazing.  I just gobbled it all up!  I am now going to have to buy every single book by Clement-Moore now, because even if they're only a quarter as good as this it'll be more than worth it.  And I was so pleased to see she has written a sequel – I only found out after I began writing the review and literally did a happy dance!
Amy was brilliant: so funny, snarky and just a great character.  I instantly fell in love with her!  She had me laughing my head off, hunting ghosts and wincing (because man did this girl get herself into some awkward scrapes!).
And her sister Phin was just as amazing.  She was like an evil scientific genius.  I love that in a girl.  Plus, she was just so darn quirky and bizarre.  Oddly enough, this made me relate to her more.  I wonder why…
As for Ben, well excuse me while I swoon.  He is gorgeous.  Seriously.  I mean, sure, he's grumpy and snarky and moody.  But he's also sweet and funny and gruffly caring.
And I lovedthe relationship between Amy and Ben.  I loved that it wasn't love-at-first-sight.  It was an insta-hate (albeit a very understandable one, given all the circumstances that I won't go into now because it would make this review way too long).  It was also hilarious.  Their banter was one of the highpoints of the books.  And I loved watching how their relationship changed and grew.  It was really sweet and also really real.
The rest of the characters were brilliant too.  A few faves were Mark and Ben's Mom.   And I loved Aunt Hyacinth and Uncle Ben – in fact, I loved all the Goodnights.  Cousin Daisy was another highlight – as was her bickering with Phin!  Their kookiness kinda reminded me of my own very crazy family.  If only we had magic though...
I will admit, for quite a while I was completely confused about the whole magic thing.  For ages, I was going: "Ok... so Amy doesn't like magic…   Doesn't she have magic?  And what exactly can these witches do?  Other than, like, making awesome potions and shampoo that literally clears your head (could so do with some of that before exams – am I right?), what can they do?"  This didn't really bother me, I must admit, 'cause I loved the characters, writing, plot and humour and I wasn’t confused for long, but it was a little niggle.  It was sorted out and by the end I knew everything there was to know about the magic in this world – and I loved it!
Speaking of: I loved the writing.  It was just so Amy, you know?  Like, if I met her or someone like her, this is exactly how I'd expect them to talk and act.  Her writing was descriptive, beautiful, funny and very witty.  It had me laughing a lot, but also totally hooked and on the edge of my seat as I raced for the end and for all the answers.  Because this plot was awesome.  It was so twisty and exciting and unexpected.  I literally never knew what to expect next.  Which was obviously very fun!
Plus, it's just so different from your typical YA paranormal stuff.  I read a lotof witch books – trust me – but I found everything in Texas Gothic totally original.  Maybe it was the whole set-in-Texas thing, or the unusual twist on magic – it's all really... I don't know.  Realistic seems like the wrong word.  And yet it's true.  Somehow the magic in this world feels real.  Even the ghosts.  Speaking of, there's also the suspense and borderline-horror: it was totally hooking and mildly terrifying.  And, of course, it was all absolutely freaking hilarious as well!  Or maybe it's the Goodnight family, who I love to pieces.  They're all bizarre, funny and all so different.  I so want to read much much more about them!   Many sequels’ worth, Miss Clement-Moore!
With bundle of magic, suspense and ghosts, with added laugh-your-pants-off-powder and one sexy cowboy, Texas Gothic is every paranormal lover's dream book.  It's funny, it's fun, it's the perfect summer read.  But maybe read in daylight.  Those ghosts?  Cr-ee-py!

Top Ten Favorite Books With School Setting

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling
Officially the best ever book series set in a school.  I mean: Hogwarts!!  Need I say more?!
Vampire Academy/Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
C'mon!!  Who doesn't wanna go to St Vlads and hang out with Rose before heading off to the Sunshine State to hang with Sydney and Adrian?  No one.  Ergo: one of the best book series set in a school ever.  Period.

Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter
Yep, one of the best.  I sooo wanna go train at Gallagher Academy...  *sigh*
Probably a bit cheating, this one.  I mean, they're summer camps.  But the half-bloods... they learn there.  That kinda makes it school...  Hey, this is my list!  I totally allow minor cheats like this from now on! ;)
Leading us to...
Study Series by Maria V. Snyder
Yep, another cheat.  So soon.  But Yelena has to learn.  And, y'know, the word 'Study' is in the title.  Studying is what you do at school.  Ergo: allowed.
I love my logic.

Ravenwood Mysteries by Mia James
Vampires, conspiracies, murders...  If all schools were like this, no one would ever leave.
Y'know.  Unless in a coffin or something...
The Medusa Project by Sophie McKenzie
School and superpowers! #SOLD
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
A school for witches, fairies, ghosts, and other various supernatural beings... What's not to love?

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
It's hot.  Enough said.
House of Night by P.C and Kristin Cast
Gotta love that school...  Awesome...

I'm over the moon to say we have the brilliant Sammee from I Want To Read That here with us today!  She's been part of this event every year and I'm so excited that she's joining in once more - and opening the event with a bang!!

Hi! I'm Sammee from I Want To Read That - a book blog for most things YA! I'm not scared to admit I have a major addiction to books and own far too many! In fact I think they are taking over the house... I also spend my working life surrounded by books as I work as a Bookseller - so I get to play with books all day:D

I'm delighted to be taking part in Megan's Month of Guest and decided to talk about the books I'm most looking forward to reading in 2013...

My 2013 Must Reads

I’ve realised since I started blogging that it’s not just reading that I love – I also love finding new books – there is something about seeing the covers and reading the synopsis that makes me super excited to get my hands on them!  Plus I always kid myself by saying that pre-orders don’t count as buying books (yes, yes I know!) But I always have fun searching online for books that just jump out at me as must reads - and there are usually many that do just that… When Megan asked me to write a guest post for her I jumped at the chance – and what better to base it on than my addiction to searching for more books (that many of my friends will argue I really don’t need). So here goes – here are my choices as must reads for 2013 releases:

Crash Into You - Katie McGarryHaving loved Pushing the Limits and Dare You Too I need to read this. Plus how much do I love the cover???
Racing Savannah - Miranda KenneallyI love Miranda Kenneally's books so this is an absolute no brainer. Plus an upstairs/downstairs style romance - sign me up!
Wild Cards - Simone Elkeles So far I haven’t read a book by Elkeles I didn’t love. Plus the whole football thing just gets me thinking of Friday Night Nights (Riggins *swoon*)

Goodbye, Rebel Blue - Shelley Coriell I really, really liked Welcome, Caller, This is Chloe when I read it and this one sounds awesome!
Just Like Fate - Cat Patrick & Suzanne YoungWritten by two authors I really like … I have to read this.
Notable – Marni BatesOh I so love Marni Bates! Her books are seriously funny – love, love, love them.

Dirty Little Secret - Jennifer Echols It’s Jennifer Echols – do I need to say more?
Right of Way - Lauren Barnholdt A companion novel to Two Way Street – yes please!
Where the Stars Still Shine - Trish DollerSomething Like Normal was brilliant – it really blew me away - so I’m super excited to get my hands on this one.

United We Spy - Ally Carter I’m so addicted to this series it is so not funny. I’m gutted this will be the last one:-(
Fracture - C.J. Daugherty Two words: Carter West!
The Distance Between Us - Kasie West Sounds just like my kind of book at the moment! --- So yes I am still on my contemp kick (and it shows no sign of going anywhere) but there are some books outside of contemp that have seriously caught my eye (and the 1-click preorder button on Amazon…)

Slayers – C J HillDragons!
Infinityglass - Myra McEntire I LOVE this series!
Demonosity - Amanda AshbyZombie Queen of Newbury High and Fairy Bad Day were ace – this one looks brilliant too! So that's my list - what books are you looking forward to reading in 2013?

Blogging - How I Make It Work

When I first got into blogging, I thought it would be a simple thing-read a book (as I was doing anyway) and formulate my thoughts into words. Move on, easy as that. I soon discovered how wrong I was. Not only is there reading and writing reviews, there’s formatting posts, web design, maintenance and emails to reply to. Then there’s the more fun things-reading other people’s posts, participating in memes, and chatting to everyone. It’s hard to believe that there’s enough time in the day for this, and everything else going on in my life. But somehow, I fit it in.
I think one thing that helps me is my daily routine. I wake up early, and read when I’m getting ready. I have twenty minute bus journey and I read on that. I get into school half an hour early, so I read or write during that time if I don’t have homework. Another twenty minutes on the bus home. Maybe an hour between bed and sleep. I have a lot of time to do this all.
How I make sure that this is not me!
I multitask a lot. I use the kindle’s text-to-speech function and free books so I can listen to stories while doing things that require me to use both hands. By getting a lot of my reading and post writing done, I can do things quickly on the computer.
The multitasking doesn’t stop there. Some nights consist of me with a show or DVD playing in one side of my screen and a word document in the other. I hate just staring at a screen without doing anything else, because I get bored and feel unproductive. Working on something at the same time gives me justification for spending hours on the computer. Yes, this has led me to miss a couple of major plot points, because I was trying to decipher my handwriting, but overall, I save time.
Prioritising things helps. I (almost) always do my homework before blogging, because doing fun things after you’ve done boring things always makes the fun things feel more fun.
Sometimes this isn’t enough, and blogging does feel really stressful. The way I deal with this is taking a break. Reminding myself that blogging is an optional thing, not a mortal obligation. I give myself breaks when I need it-around exams, around times when I get bored of churning out reviews, around times when I find an obsession that really really takes over my life. leaving the blog alone for a couple of days, or weeks, or anything, means I get more done with non-bloggy things, and most likely a new love of the blog!
In conclusion, there’s lots of things involved in blogging, and I use a lot of techniques to save time, but when this doesn’t work, I take a bit of a break. And that’s how I make it work.

It's awesome to have the wonderful Sophie from So Many Books, So Little Time here today! Thank you for coming, Sophie!! And how cool that some of our faves are joining in with Month Of Guests!! :D

My Top Ten Paranormal Books!

I’ve recently fallen for YA fantasy so I thought I’d share my favourites! As I am quite new to the genre, I’m going to cheat and choose five fantasy novels and five urban fantasy novels (fantasy set in the real world, but not paranormal romance). Here they are in no particular order!

Fantasy

I read Kristin Cashore’s Gracelingearlier in the year on a whim and fell head over heels in love. I loved strong, fierce and feminist Katsa; she’s the type of girl I wish everyone had as a role model. The strength and subtlety of the feminism in this novel was phenomenal and empowering.

Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas was one of my favourite books last year and it was one that I took a gamble on. I loved it so, so much. The world! Caelana! The fact that I couldn’t predict the outcome of the love triangle! It was a breath of fresh air and I think it’d be a really nice gateway into YA fantasy.

My next one is far too unknown for my liking: Pegasus by Robin McKinley. I had never heard of this until the publicist emailed me about this, promising that I’d like it even thought it wasn’t my usual thing. She was right! Though a little slow to start, I became absorbed in the magical world and was devastated to learn that there would be a four year wait between books one and two!

I wasn’t too sure about Maria V Snyder’s Poison Study when I first started and I still wasn’t sure when I finished it. By the end of the third book, I was I love with Ixia, the magic, Snyder’s writing and the gorgeous Valek. I’ve bought every one of her books since!

Finally, one I haven’t actually read yet. I’ve heard endlessly good things about Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers and I’m really hoping that I’ll finally get around to reading it very soon.

Urban Fantasy

The Wicked Lovely series by Melisaa Marr is one of my very favourite series. I love her dark, dangerous and endlessly seductive faery world and the characters are breathtaking. From our heroine Aislinn to Keenan the Summer King; Seth, the tattooed mortal love of Aislinn to Niall, right hand of the Dark Court; Iriall the Dark King to Lesley, a mortal who becomes embroiled in the dangers of Faery; they all captivated me. Marr’s description is flawless and I want to live in her world.

Holly Black takes a grittier look at faeries in her trilogy that begins with Tithe. Kaye has seen faeries all her life, but it’s not until she moves to New Jersey that she becomes caught up in a war that could result in her death. Gripping, strangely romantic and beautifully twisted: a total win on the faery front.

On to a different type of supernatural creatures, Cassandra Clare’s The Mortal Instruments remains as one of my favourite series of all time. the tales of the New York Shadowhunters – half human, half angel – as they tackle demons and fight foes while Clary and Jace (oh, Jace. How I love thee...) battle the right to love each other. Death, danger and breath-taking battles; it’s an addictive series, even if I do think it would have been better to end it where originally planned at book three.

At fifteen books, The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine isn’t for the feint-hearted, but h it’s worth it. Super-clever Claire starts university at the age of 16 and ends up living with Shane, Michael and Eve after evil girls in her dorm hurt her. Little does she know that she’s just moved to a town run by vampires and Monica is the least of her worries... fast-paced, addictive and brilliant cliffhangers; I’ll be sad to see this series end in November.

Finally, back to the fey with Julie Kagawa’s The Iron Fey trilogy. Man, I love this series! Meghan is thrown into the magical and extremely dangerous Nevernever when her little brother is kidnapped by faeries. On her journey to rescue her brother she meets the impenetrable Winter Prince, a surprisingly familiar allie and Grim, the cat that knows everything. Kagawa’s writing is captivating and I fall into it effortlessly. I want to live in her world!

That’s it from me! I’m hope you’ve found something that’s piqued your interest. Thank you for having me, Megan!

The Girls of YA

Hiya, lovely followers!  I have some super exciting news: I'm starting up a new blog with a new partner: Emma from Never Judge A Book By Its Cover!  We've been Twitter buds for a while and talk book all the time (though she's yet to give in to my constant pestering and FINALLY read Obsidian by Jennifer Armentrout!)  So when Emma asked if I wanted to do a joint blog with her I said: "Hells yes".  We both love our own blogs and it's been so much fun to have a partner to Read, Fangirl and Design with!  And so The Girls Of YA was born!

We're going to have a feature a week, and these features are...

She Says, She Says - A Joint Review of a book

From Girl To Girl - Where we each suggest a book for the other to read (Emma, I WILL keep making my pick Obsidian 'til you cave.  Just sayin'.)

From The Minds Of The Girls - Where we each design a graphic based on a book: a cover, a badge, something quote-related

So it should all be really really fun!  And we really hope all of our followers from our individual blogs stop by The Girls Of YA and love it as much as we already do!   We promise everything we do will be fresh, unique and exciting!  The blog goes live with our first 'proper' post ...  Stop by to hear what The Girls Of YA have to say!! :D

Month of Guests 2013: Music, Books And Tea

Hello!

I am so excited to be taking part in Megan’s Fortnight of Guests, I’ve loved the previous events that Megan has compiled on The Book Addicted Girl so I am super honoured to be taking a part in this year’s event.

My name is Hollie, and I blog at Music, Books and Tea. I’ve been blogging for nearly two years now (crazy how time flies!) and it’s safe to say that I’ve loved every single minute of it.

Today I thought I’d share with you a few of the YA books that I’m so happy that I took a risk on and read.

Books I’m Glad I Took the Plunge With and Read

1) Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

I know, I know! I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the Twilight Saga, because these were the first Young Adult books I’d read in a long while, and really gave me a taste for YA. If it wasn’t for these books, I wouldn’t have bothered with YA, which means that I probably wouldn’t have my book blog. So I actually have a lot to thank these books for, and I think there’s probably a lot of other bloggers who feel the same way as I do.

2) Looking for Alaska by John Green

Oh my, where to begin? This is the book that started my love for John Green, and also introduced me to a world of books and authors who I now love. I was sceptical to read this at first, as I didn’t really understand the appeal of reading a book about a boy who was going to fall in love with a girl he couldn’t have, but this book was just so much more than that, and I loved it for it.

3) Divergent by Veronica Roth

Okay, it was a given that I would read this book, but I was 99% sure I wasn’t going to enjoy it. And how wrong was I?! This book quickly shot high up the list and earned itself a place in my favourites, and quite rightly so. When I read it, I wasn’t entirely sold on the idea of dystopian books, but thanks to this book, I’ve read a ton of them, and it’s easily one of my favourite (if not my actual favourite) YA genres. So yeah, if you haven’t read Divergent yet, I highly recommend it because it’s awesome.

4) Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
What isn’t there to love about this book?? Shadow and Bone is amazing, it contains literally everything that makes a book awesome. There’s magic. There’s Grisha. There’s lots of romance. (The Darkling!!) Shadow and Bone was nothing short of incredible, and again, if you haven’t read it yet, what are you waiting for? Get your hands on a copy, read it, and fall in love with The Darkling.

5) Finding Sky by Joss Stirling

When I first read the synopsis of Finding Sky, I wasn’t entirely sure what to make of it, so I just kind of put it towards the back of my mind and forgot about it for a little while. Then I took a chance on it at the end of last year, and I am so happy that I decided to do so! I was introduced to a totally different type of paranormal book, full to the brim of action and a group of brothers called the Benedicts…(need I say any more?!)

So these are just five YA books that I’m glad I took a chance on and read, and I definitely recommend checking them out yourself if you haven’t already done so!

Thank you so much for your amazing post, Hollie!  I totally agree with Finding Sky, Shadow and Bone and Twilight.  I promise, I'll read the other two ASAP!! :D

It's a huge pleasure to welcome the lovely Emma from Never Judge A Book By Its Cover here today!  Emma is a good friend of mine and my new blogging partner - check out our blog Girls Of YA!!  Now, onto Emma...
Never Judge a Book by its Cover

Hello Everyone and welcome to my guest post of The BookAddicted Girl’s Fortnight of Guests 2013. So here is my intro to my post to those who don’t know me and would to say hi! I’m Emma and I’m read and review books over at my own blog Never Judge a Book by its Cover. I’m also a graphic designer at Em’s Designs (aka The Graphicness) and I’m also a Co-Blogger with Megan at Girls of YA. If you would like to say hi, follow my Links below on Twitter, Goodreads and Facebook. I hope you all enjoy my quest post as well.

Library Days and Why It Makes Me Love Books Even More!

When I was a little girl I held this card that would gain me entry into the most beautiful place that an avid book lover such as myself could ever imagine. It was my first proper card to go in my purse and I carried it everywhere and this place is now where I work every day; The Library. My friend and I would always go to the library with our mums to get new books, books for the Summer Reading Challenges and also the craft sessions on during the holidays. Now as a Library Assistant this is what I do the same little boys and girls who come into the library and it the most wonderful thing to see. You think that Libraries eventually will go out of fashion with the growing technology and gadgets that allow you to read like a Kindle, but no, libraries still hold this traditional, beautiful quality when you walk in but they have grown with the 21st century as well.

Being a Library Assistant I have my duties, as well as shelving and attending queries I’m also head of the Teenage and Young Adult Section, Marketing and Promotional content and the Summer Reading Challenges. SO this summer has been a pretty busy one… The Summer Reading Scheme has been the best, from once being on the other side of counter saying “Can I join the reading scheme?” to now “Would you like to join the reading scheme?” has been a wonderful feeling and brings back memories of when I was a little girl.

Don’t get me wrong there are times I just want to hide out in the Teen section and read the whole section. Especially the times when its quiet, dark and rainy days at work that’s all I want to do. The other perks is that I can get up to 25 books a time, free reservations and I can get first dibbs on any (Teen) books and DVD. You could say my job it best first job I could ever ask for. I’ll be sad to let it go.

So what I want to say of this guest post is please use your libraries, use that card and keep your libraries open… because I know they aren’t very safe from the government and as fellow book lovers it the perfect place to be.

Also as a way to keep Libraries alive on the blogs I’m starting a new feature called, Book of the Week where you can showcase the best book you got at that library that week. Visit my blog for me details. Or click on the image below.

Thank you so much, Emma!!  That was awesome!!  I love my library and will definitely take part in this next time I get a chance to go!! :D

It's a huge, huge pleasure to have the brilliant Hawwa from It Was Lovely Reading You here today!  She is one of the funniest people I know and I hope you enjoy her brilliant and bonkers rambling!! :D

MY BOOK BOYFRIENDS. aka. The Coolest Guys In Fiction Land.

It is a truth widely acknowledged that a girl in possession of good books must be in want of a book boyfriend.
Everyone knows it. I remember being asked by a girl I knew, who didn't read books, if I had a book boyfriend. She did say it in a sarcastic way...but I chose to ignore that part...and promptly reeled off a list - I don't think she was very impressed. BUT, the point of it all: It is no big feat if someone knows you are in love with a fictional guy. Although let me tell you, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ACTUALLY DATE THEM. Seriously guys. This is the truest statement ever:

You want to know why?

I think I have a *slight* problem. Seriously. This is how I spend my days:

and it continues: (I don't think it will ever stop!)
and just when you think, oh, we have a conclusion. Everyone gets a clone. Happy days.
This happens:

And yes. as you can see from the date. This happened all on the same day. The result? WE NEVER CAME TO A CONCLUSION. *facepalm*
(but Will and Jem and all the guys on my list are mine really.. ok?)
But hey ho - the sun continues to rise, my bookshelf is still overflowing, and I have twitter court battles with my lovely buddies nearly every day...
ANYWAY, coming to the topic I am meant to be writing about!
Who are my Top Ten Book Boyfriends you ask?
Well I'll tell you:
-----------------------
---------------------------------------------------------
Starting off with the lovely, yes, you guessed it,
Mr William Herondale - The Infernal Devices Series by Cassandra Clare
I don't think anyone can deny that this adorable, BOOK LOVING guy is a swoon worthy attraction. For starters, he's a bad-ass shadow hunter, extremely loyal, HANDSOME, so so caring and did I mention handsome?
And right at Will's heels,

Augustus 'Gus' Waters - The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
...who didn't cry while reading The Fault In Our Stars? And raise your hand if you were drawn in my Gus's charms? *looks round at room filled with a sea of hands without surprise* I thought so. He has one leg, and he spouts wisdom at every turn guys, tell me what teenage boy would smoke a cigarette; but not smoke it and explain that it is a metaphor...
"You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing"
Have you thought of a guy yet? No? I'm not surprised. There's only one Gus after all..;)

Jem Carstairs - The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare
ncjvjnfc, mvnjfbncjhnf I LOVE HIM HE IS SUCH A GENTLEMAN AND SO SWEET AND ROMANTIC AND OMG I JUST...I CAN'T.....HE IS MINE PEOPLE. MINE.

Chaol Westfall -  Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
Well...where do I start. EXTREMELY FIT. He is Captain of The Guard after all...surprisingly romantic..*cough* BROOM CUPBOARD *cough* (read Crown of Midnight for...details..;)), an epic fighter, loyal, trustworthy...a good friend. :D Basically he's a mix up of all the good qualities you want..oh..and HE'S A GOOD DANCER PEEPS...

Park - Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell
Park. Oh Park. I flailed over scenes with you. Seriously. Hand holding was never such fangirl worthy material. I mean, listen to this guy,
“You can be Han Solo,” he said, kissing her throat. “And I’ll be Boba Fett. I’ll cross the sky for you.”
He can bond with someone over comics, mix tapes and make-up. MAKE-UP. Tell me this guy isn't worthy of being in this list and... I will MAKE YOU THINK OTHERWISE.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Peeta - The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The boy with the bread. The boy who cared too much about a girl to mind whether he died or not. The boy who risked his life for someone else.  The boy who went into the arena, twice, and survived. Selfless. Likable. Generous. Romantic. Trustworthy. Loyal. THIS GUY IS EVERYTHING  everything. I don't know someone WHO DOESN'T LIKE PEETA. Gah, he is my dad's favourite character. Guys, my dad is one picky reader. And he said Peeta made the book. If Peeta ever came alive I don't think I'd have any problems getting parental permission to date that's for sure..;)

Harrison - Finding Cherokee Brown by Siobhan Curham
ME WUV HARRISON. k? He's basically a hot, shy, awkward, sweet, GRAFFITI ARTIST. OK? ok? OMG THE FAULT IN OUR STARS MOMENT..... bye.

Mal - Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
The best tracker in the whole of Ravka = Mal.
All I need to say is. Epic. Sweet. Caring. Romantic..care for a little quote anyone?
“I missed you every hour. And you know what the worst part was? It caught me completely by surprise. I'd catch myself just walking around to find you, not for any reason, just out of habit, because I'd seen something that I wanted to tell you about or because I wanted to hear your voice. And then I'd realize that you weren't there anymore, and every time, every single time, it was like having the wind knocked out of me. I've risked my life for you. I've walked half the length of Ravka for you, and I'd do it again and again and again just to be with you, just to starve with you and freeze with you and hear you complain about hard cheese every day. So don't tell me why we don't belong together," he said fiercely.”
Yeah..little..sorry about that!

Dorian - Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas
PRINCE. Dorian. Yes. Prince. Who passes up a prince I ask you?! A handsome one at that. Who is a good fighter. WHO LIKES READING. HE'S A BOOK LOVER. O________________O HEAR THAT! A GUY BOOK LOVER! *scatters confetti* oh and he gives the most epic presents..puppies!

Four - Divergent by Veronica Roth
Oh Four, you were so silent and intimidating and you had tattoos and a constant frown on your face. And then Tris came along and BAM. Out came the sweet, tender, protective side of you that you had always hidden. Dauntless...:D
and. Last but not least. (an extra because i am such a rebel..)

Butterfly- The Elites by Natasha Ngan
What can I say? HIS NAME IS BUTTERFLY. He has wings..He is adorable, protective, sweet, loyal and errrm...handsome...;) I think I speak for everyone when I say please come to life...?!
-----------------------------------
*fanfare*
AND THAT'S A WRAP.
The whole point of this post? To tell you who not to fall for, because I already own them..;) Haha, I'm joking but really, if you haven't read any of these books then read them now OTHERWISE YOU ARE MISSING OUT.
Phew. So I hoped you enjoyed the post. Thank you to Megan for letting me Caps-Locky-ify her blog and err..yeah. Creds to ZoeAmyRita and Sunny for..the twitter court battle..WHICH I REALLY WON.

Hullo there! The name's Hawwa. Teenage girl. Book worm.  Gif lover (I CAN'T BELIEVE I DID NOT ADD GIFS INTO THIS POST BUT IF I HAD IT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO LONG! *sobs*) Excessive caps lock user. Twitter Maniac. AWESOME PERSON WHO YOU REALLY WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH...;) My little corner of the net has been dubbed It Was Lovely Reading You where I ramble on about books, rant about books, fangirl about books..you get my drift. ;) I also host giveaways and *whisper* I am actually planning a HUGE one for when I get to 300 GFC followers so..*wink wink*..take the hint..;)
You can find me mostly on twitter (although I will most likely be killing my friends by over exposure to caps lock usage in the confines of direct messaging because I have been sent to twitter jail for tweeting too much - WOW LONG SENTENCE!... -_-) but I also do check my e-mails practically every day so just drop my a line to say hello - no matter what it looks like, I don't bite..;p!

We have a very different and very brilliant post today by the wonderful Amy from Amy Bookworm, who is join by Rita from Weaving Pages...  Enjoy!
Oh, and Amy's writing in blueand Rita in purple, just so you don't get confused! :)

Did you know?
One of the RSS ways of following, Feedburner (mainly used for email followers), is very handy with Twitter! You can schedule tweets for it, under the 'Publicize' tab in your feed if you click 'Socialize' you'll spot it. Type in what you want to appear besides the URL & title of the post. For example, you could include someone’s @, it’s not a bad idea to include co-bloggers or friends who like being updated on your posts & don’t mind constant reminders- maybe ask, some bloggers bug me with this but others, like Rita, could probably get away with it (This makes me feel special!)

This is a totally handy tip in my opinion, but remember: you can also link with Goodreads & tweets can be auto-posted that way. Sound good? Go try it!
If you didn’t know the above, that’s why you need this post! If not, I hope you’ll enjoy it anyway… Amy Bookworm is also accompained by… Rita @ Weaving Pages(who agreed to do a joint-discussion as a one-off!) (And I was feeling nice….haha! No, It’s lots of fun doing joint-discussions with Amy).

Before we go in depth, Megan has asked us to say hello, and introduce ourselves:
According to Rita (also regarding the other's Twitter): Amy is the awesome person who plagues twitter when possible. She frequently joins me in various conversations ranging from me making her read various books (don't worry, soon she will have read The Mortal Instruments and Divergent) to participating in court cases over who gets custody of the REAL Peeta Mellark. Don't worry, Peeta's with me whilst Amy, Zoe and Hawwa have clones (Doesn't Rita Mellark sound awesome though?). In short, she is a very awesome, crazy, nice blogger!
According to Amy (also regarding the other's Twitter): Rita may be a fairly new blogger but who cares? Her blog is really getting out there & I know it has lots of fans already as it truly does stand out and frankly she's an awesome book-lover. Rita has been known to push books, shares my love for GIFs & is so thoughtful.
She's sort of crazy and is owner of one of my favourite blogs, Weaving Pages, but does steal book boyfriends :P If you like, and can handle, creative crazy people Rita will never fail to put a smile on your face (: I'm so happy she's stopped by and is answering some of my questions.

I believe we’re after one of our very amusing friends and of course, by now, you’ll know one of the uses of Twitter: to talk about book boyfriends. Who doesn’t?? This is something I enjoy, and so does Rita (yeah, part of the “book boyfriend talk” involves court cases)...

@Amy_Bookworm Amy, tell @snackingonbooks To give Peeta back, after all,my you stole him in the first place ;) SHARE LADIES
— Rita (@WeavingPages) June 25, 2013

See? What a screenshot. That’s just an everyday experience for those us of us who: a) are teens b) are obsessed with twitter but really… the only thing that matters is c) book bloggers! Seriously, a necessity for book bloggers is to have book bloggers. b) is pretty important, but as long as you have a Twitter you’ll be fine & probably not notice it happening until you start realizing you have hundreds of internet friends & about 1 real life friend, if you’re lucky. You see.. This is why the “About” bit on my blog says that my blog is the reason I still have friends in real life...
Oh dear, Rita! I wouldn’t blame my blog. Twitter, credit where its due! Besides book boyfriends, what else have we discussed? Unicorns. They are VERY important...Oh, and don’t forget Caleb...

Should we whip out your specially designed T-Shirts?, personally I’m not sure my cat will be much help to any up & coming tweeters! No, he’s just a talking cat, right? :P
Haha...as long as he isn’t offended by not being included! I’ve had an amazing idea… I should make specially designed Unicorns!!
Everyone: DO NOT tell Caleb that we missed him out… OK, ssshhh!
We need to show you this T-Shirt. Just one of Rita’s many designs, and a reason you should be on Twitter so get on there this instance! It’s worth losing friends for… I mean, you make so many book blogger friends & guess what? This year I’ve had 1028 hits which have been referred directly from Twitter but more have followed me, commented or such because of Twitter… Because of the Feedburner automated I’ve had an additional 118 views. Plus, in less than 6 months over at my other blog, where I have a co-blogger, there’s been 737 twitter referrals. Isn’t that good stats when I don’t even have that many followers? I have basically got 750 (rounded) followers in just over 6 months. I think you should now try tweeting & advertising your posts by Twitter too.
Yep. I agree! I get so many pageviews from Twitter, and it’s a great way to spread the word about your blog! I’ve talked to lots of authors as well as met lots of different bloggers. Twitter benefits your blog so much. It’s definitely essential when you blog.
Authors… Ah, I only got 1 review request before Twitter & I’d had my blog a few months previous. Then, since February, I’ve lost track of how many.
I agree with this. Most of the authors who ask me to review their book follow me on Twitter.
It’s obviously not that crazy as Amy Bookworm is less than a year old but it’s a few dozen, I get about 3 review books per month (I don’t have NG & am all about the Twitter connection method or emailing directly, I’m under 18 anyway so no NetGalley for me!) which is totally good numbers & mainly comes from authors asking on Twitter but some publicists I’ve met I actually found out about on Twitter but emailed first- the confidence comes from Twitter. Every time. Publicists or publishing houses may follow you & ask you to join their team. Massive shout outs to Indigo, and… for example, me and Amy are both part of Team Fox, which is a group of reviewers for the publishers Curious Fox. We got to be part of this through Twitter, and I think if we hadn’t had Twitter, we wouldn’t have gotten this opportunity… However, even if you’re not part of a review group, you can learn so much about which books are coming out on Twitter. Just by following Publishing houses, you can find out so many things about events that are happening and books that are being released!!
You can! Forget WoW, well not necessarily it’s different to a tweet after all, I’ve found out about way more new books on Twitter. And also, another thing I find, is not just authors & publishing houses RT reviews & your posts (often related to them but shout out to some fab indie’s who I adore for their RT love!) but other book bloggers do. What do they gain? Nothing, apart from the fact you may RT them & then you’re like even & have got the word out some more! RTing is easy, and favoriting too, so if you like a post, or just a tweet, please let a tweep now by pressing one of those buttons. It makes all the difference. Who knows? You may find out you have similar taste in books, or like me & Rita, end up helping each other to join a reviewing group! Discussing a book even is just as easy as discussing a book boyfriend, really!
Exactly. I mean, if you follow me on Twitter, you would know that after watching the City of Bones Movie, I had a HUGE movie hangover so I basically ranted about the movie. Also, since the last book is coming out in May, I had this breakdown where I basically cried on Twitter about how no one should be allowed to die because I love the character so much…
I knew you liked CoB before the movie because it’s one of your things you tweet about it a lot… A lot. If I go on your profile I have a 50/50 chance of spotting something related to that (not much of an exaggeration actually!) The next book is coming out in May, and Rita, using Twitter to book push, has demanded that everyone read it soon, like… in 2013 or 2014. (Me and Amy have a deal that means I have to read a book, and she has to read one! I have to read Fire soon… so she can read CoB.)
Hehehe...but trust me City of Bones is one of the best books you will ever read. Otherwise you’re missing out, I trust. Which means, how can I spend a whole DAY without tweeting something about it?
It’s quite annoying, I jest, how you can easily book push and/or stalk even a saavy twitter user’s reading updates & such. But don’t worry, Rita will know when I’ve read CoB & if you follow me, you would too :P If you’re a book pusher, get Twitter.
Book pushing is one of the best things ever. I’m a book pusher and proud.. Yes..I am lying in wait for Amy to read City of Bones so she can fangirl with me...It’ll be funny seeing her collapse with all the feels….*evil laugh*
You underestimate me! That aside, allow your Amazon to update your Twitter when you buy someone- I may assume you have something to hide and/or never buy books otherwise. That’s a good trick, if you want to coax someone into reading your books. I sense buddy reads may be happening when a) someone checks out your reviews (auto-tweeted or not) b) you just say you’ve bought it c) when you threaten them, otherwise known as proposing a deal… :P
They need to know how to use Twitter so I’m telling them how to book push on Twitter. I refuse to delve into the specifics elsewhere but I do update Twitter when I review, purchase books, get to exciting bits in books…
Pfff...I never blackmail or threaten anyone…Ha, but someone could! Also, you can connect your Kindle to your Twitter account which allows you tell people when you’ve finished a book and how many stars you gave it.
Kindle, Amazon… It’s pretty much the same kettle of fish (I’ve never put fish in a kettle), but Goodreads is more necessary, I know I update Goodreads more than Amazon but in fairness- it’s what works for you. I mentioned earlier, discussing books- smetimes, when I get the same books as other bloggers, I quickly arrange a buddy read for the book. On Twitter, it’s amazing. Quickly mention someone else & BAM… it’s going to turn into a read-a-long :P As for updating each other, the Goodreads thing comes in handy! But also remember to update the author & them… Use a hashtag preferably too which all parties can check. It’s so flattering for an author to witness an occasion like that & you bet you’ll get RT’s! You think something about a book? Share it. Give teasers, not spoilers. Encourage your blogger friends to read more & discuss the book with them. It’s like 1, 2, 3… Oh, and, sometimes just adding a book to wishlist via Twitter could be classed as book pushing (if you think these things are book pushing, I confess. I’M SORRY FOR BOOK PUSHING! :D) Go ahead though.
I’M NOT SORRY FOR BOOK PUSHING….I HAVE NO REGRETS AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE BOOK I MADE YOU READ… :D (I’m so evil, aren’t I?)
Hehe… All I know, regarding my proper use of Twitter (well, it’s debateable but shhhh!), according to tweetstats.com, my top five words on Twitter have been: rt, book, read, know, books. Let’s see what Rita’s are, shall we? *goes to check mine!*
In the meantime, I don’t know where know came from. Maybe I know you should get Twitter, if you haven’t, eh? ;) While I’m talking about that, I’ve tweeted Rita the most. This brings up the fact that me and Amy have been asked if there is a day where we don’t talk..In reality, we can only go so long without having a proper conversation. Okay, I’ve replied to Amy 475 times, and Amy, your name is huge on my tweet cloud..!
The friends you make on Twitter ;) In July alone, I tweeted you 217 times, Rita. My tweetcloud has returned the love & guess who’s twitter handle is really big on my tweetcloud? Or rather, the biggest name is… Meeeeeee! No, it’s not ‘meeeeee’, it’s @WeavingPages :P Also, readers, you’ll be pleased to know that Rita has mainly used the words: rt, read, #bookishparty, book, books.(I’m disappointed that The Mortal Instruments isn’t in there somewhere...hmmm...I have to tweet more about that..)

Caption: We actually have ‘#bookishparty’ in common= comparing how big it is on Amy’s & Rita’s...

With that mentioned- we’ve said it all… All that we know, or think we know, has completely been documented here. I’m glad I had Rita to comment on Twitter with me. Hopefully Megan will like it and hopefully all you readers will like it too! You may one day find out your tweetstats, will they surprise you or be pretty normal like ours turned out to be? You’ll see!

Now, go tweet but don’t forget to read as well (FYI, that has never happened- it may get addictive but nothing should stop you from reading)!
